id say Spencer reason being ML signed him and i dont think SM rates him. so let SM get somebody he rates a quality striker who will add competition for a place with Mullin or Jevons

then in central midfield who is the last player you would pick out of these Drummond, Stanley, Scott, Fleming, Brown, Hunter, i would say the latter to be honest but thats only my opinion..

again then the wingers who on the right wing out of Duffy Wainwright Shuker Hunter? my opinion is still the same as before and on the Left we are short with left footed players so Wilson & Rundle are safe

in defence i would say Capaldi is the obvious one to accommodate a right back could that be Hunter? or do you get a proper one whos a specialist and played there all is career?

Easy Out: Shuker, Capaldi no questions asked. Spencer, prima donna. Wainwright, Haining constantly injured.
In: ? ? ? ? ? anyone could be just as bad, but maybe one of them will be better.

Bring in 2 right wing backs and another left footed STRIKER...sheeish we need somebody who can have a proper slap at the ball in front of goal.

I don't agree with your thought on getting shut of Wainwright and Haining, Caged Lion.

Scott Brown has the ability, as does Larry Willo when he gets that far. Jev needs to tap it in, Mullers can only score with his head, Duffs just hasn't got the power somehow.

It has been said before, but we are missing the goals from centre back position. :(

From what i have seen McCready has got a decent head on him off corners, in the Stockport match he had the keeper scrambling for the goal which Jev scored and also his header resulted in the Penalty.

I liked the look of George Donnelly from Stockport, despite the result he looked sharp and dangerous and just needed support and service. At Plymouth but from the north west and a cheeky bid might get him away.

I'd also take Danny Carlton back, if fit, as a different kind of striking option.

They both have something in which we've been sadly lacking over recent seasons - pace.

agreed , I thought Donnelly looked a good sharp striker even with limited supply in a team overwhelmed by the Shrimps.

I thought I saw somewhere that Stockport will have to find £100,000 + in January to sign him and that would not be in our ballpark.

If I was asked to contribute to something similar for our club, I'd do it.....without question!

I wasn't suggesting anyone did - just indicating that he may be available and it may be within our reach. Stockport are in dire financial straits, aren't they? If they even think it's possible then we should have a chance - if the club thinks he's any good, that is.

yeah, sod donations to your local hospice or world famine aid, give our well off board your spare cash to pay a good wage for a striker who may, or may not cut the mustard, a real fan would give his money that he usually buys his son a match ticket with, pawn his wedding ring, whatever

Both players are worthy if fit, they both looked good in the reserves last week.

However, Wainwright isn't getting his fitness back. Haining didn't have a good game at wing back on Saturday and doesn't seem to be in Sammy's plans as a central defender.
