Morecambe Supporters opened their league account with a fine 6 2 win against Wrexham this afternoon at Trimpell.

There could be a few reasons for this. First, it's only been mentioned after it finished apart from buried in one of your mini-bus messages. Second, the supporters web site has one fixture, 2nd Nov 2008 against FCUM. In order to expect people to turn up apart from players family, it needs a bit of publicity.

I'd have gone if I'd known about it. In fact my girlfriend prefers the atmosphere of the supporters games rather than our first team

Actually the full fixture list has been in the last two matchday programmes i assume you missed those? we have featured the supporters team many times over the years

I didnt make any last year youre right but have managed to get to some in the past at Heysham
Cant say ill be at many this season either but wanted to highlight the fact the games are there
I enjoyed it this afternoon and they won and plenty of talking points so hope to catch another one soon
