Two for a Tenner deal..

Two for a Tenner deal..

Postby Freez » Fri Oct 29, 2010 7:51 pm

Enjoyed a very nice meal at the Globe this evening, home made chicken, ham and leek pie with mash and fresh veg, my better half had the chicken curry with pilau, nan bread and mango chutney, all for a measly ten pounds.

Nobody in but us, initially.

However, us eating persuaded the next three people (whom we did not really know) arriving to order also, they were impressed.

As we were.

What a pity it is that it is not busier, as the two chefs do make some good stuff.

Try it, they serve until 9pm, great food, superb offer, go on,have a do!!

More people eat there soon, we might be able to get another striker in the January window!!!

To be honest, our meals were £6.50 and £6.95 normal price, and would have been well worth it! Just for consideration.

No kitchen for 3 weeks, can I order 2 meals for £10 but have one on consecutive nights?

You probably can. But it will have gone cold by then.

Better choose my food carefully then. Pick a second dish that's easily microwaved.

No meal deals for someone eating alone, that's blatant partnerism.

The tables are quite low, Hodgy, you should be able to reach okay, mate.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
