losing the faith

Postby halftimeresults » Sat Oct 30, 2010 6:59 pm

with Sammy.
I have never felt so low in the 21 years i have been watching Morecambe, No doubt I will be told to get a grip and get behind the lads but I just don't enjoy watching Morecambe anymore.
We play with one man upfront, the fans hate and it does not work( only won 3 games )
but we are told that the lads enjoy playing that system. FFS Sammy it's your job to win games.
Stockport lost 5-0 at home to the bottom club today.
4-4-2 and we win, it simple but if we play with one man upfront and fail to win then we know that we have a team that is not good enough or we have a manager that is not good enough.
you decide :(

how very dare you halftimeresults, what we need now is a lemming like mentality, pure and utter blind faith will see us through, if sammy sees fit to put walker up fronf and duffy in nets then so be it, sammy knows best young man, its the officials that have it in for us, i think they all need eye tests, as sammy says, kick on, and as lills keeps shouting, push em out, (i think he shouts that to hainings wife)

HOW VERY DARE YOU

I agree with you about the formation, 4-4-2. Jev and Mullin reunited and bang 3-0..

fair play i respect your opinion stuff fans on here who are in denial and dont want to lose our identity as they say it and would be quiet happy back down in the BSP little old Morecambe patronizing brigade(no ambition)

halftimeresults does not want bsp, he obviously is worried about that possibility, and is entitled as a paying loyal fan to express his opinion

I've heard from someone who works at the club that Sammy has resigned. They are on the way back. That's all I know so can't really elaborate any further.

I have learnt not to believe anything on here.

grreeeeeeearrrate, so we now need a new cat

spoke to several people in the know and ady is wrong, baxter is staying put, has it ever dawned on here that you cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear

he has never had any money to spend, he has to make do with freebies and loanees, so we do not know if he is a good or bad manager at the moment.

managers do not resign unless they are headhunted.

I was just saying that was what I'd heard. I wanted to know if anyone else had heard that because I was hoping that the person was mistaken.

To be fair, quite a few of the things posted on here aren't a million miles away from the truth. We are quite a tight small knit family club, not much goes by without people finding out about it.

I've also just heard the same rumour since logging on, although admittedly its third hand. However, this apparently emanates from a very reputable source.

i hope he hasnt/doesnt resign cause sammy and mark have been excellent for us but hodgies right its really boring to watch with the system we are playing, we have a great squad of players and i dont think its too hard to fix it.
for me its 4 4 2 all out attack (shit or bust) if we win we win in style watchin an entertaining game and if we lose we lose but we also watch an entertaining game.
Id rather watch us lose going all out for a win rather than watch us lose being too cautious against teams we would murder if we went all out.
I have 100% faith in the manager and squad but not in the current formation.
(just my humble opinion).
