Splitting The Season into Segments

Splitting The Season into Segments

Postby seasonsinthesun » Sun Oct 17, 2010 5:50 pm

Did you hear what Kevin Dillon said about how he approaches games? Thought it was interesting..
46 games in a season.
Split them into 7 segments of 6 matches. That's 42.
Aim to get 10 points from each segment of 6 games.
So after 42 games you aim for 70 points.
That leaves four games to try and get as many extra as you can, and most likely a play-off spot.

Just out of interest, we got 3 pts from our first 6 and 10 pts from our next 6.
So, Kevin Dillon doesn't take one match at a time, he looks at 6.
BTW 10 points from 6 works out at 2 wins and 4 draws or 3 wins 1 draw and 2 defeats.

this is even more pointless than any of the posts me and CC put on

there are 42 segments lasting 90 plus minutes each, win 10 draw ten, you stay up

princes mandarin orange tins contain 42 segments per tin :!:

Why is it pointless?
10 points is better than pointless!
