Football League Show

did anyone notice on the highlights for the Oxford v Macclesfield game the commentator said "Whatever Manager Sammy Mcllroy said at half time seemed to work"

How old must their information be to make a cock up like that!!

Football League Show clearly unaware that Morecambe also made the play-offs last season?

.....and have you noticed that we always appear towards the end of the show.

I'm also surprised that we never get a mention (or very rarely) in the fans e-mail section. I've e-mailed them a few times to praise our lads especially last week but no mention!

There comes a time when ignorance is no longer funny or endeering. Darren, Sammy left Macclesfield 10 years ago. "About 4 years ago" he had already been Morecambe manager for several months, prior to which he'd had a spell at Stockport and managed his home nation!

Sorry Marky I just did not check my fact before typing this.

Had the impression as a new Morecambe fan for the last 15 months in his first season in the conference meant he got this team promoted in the play off final

sorry

His first full season, yes. He had been caretaker manager in the latter half of the previous season, though.

I knew Jim Harvey was really ill (Heart Attack) I think and Sammy Mac was in charge for the season caretaker boss and Harvey I am guessing went on the side regarding being Morecambe manager.

And I do remember getting told because Sammy took Jim Harvey job there do not talk anymore.

And I do not know alot about Morecambe's history of the team is because until 15 months ago all I cared about was Charlton Athletic.

Me being a Charlton Fan would love our club to stay to one boss like was did fours years ago with Alan King Curbishley and not Pardew , Dowie we had a caretaker boss also for one month forgot his name now he is at Fulham as Director and now got Phil Parkingson I do not want Charlton sackng him but if we do not do anything soon we could be in League One like Bradford nooooooooo

Given that this entire thread is about people getting information wrong and taking the mickey out of them for it, you really should be checking your facts or you open yourself up to similar ridicule. For instance, here, Charlton already are in League One, and Bradford are in League Two. You'd think you'd know that being a) a Charlton Fan, and b) a supposed Morecambe fan also who have already played Bradford in the league this season.
