Poor interview if you ask me, but not from Sammy. The interviewer gave him about 5 different opportunities to wear rose tinted specs but thankfully Sammy was brutally honest and I applaud him for that.

agree, never went, but quinny always seems, polite, when interviewing SM, the true picture regarding away games seems to emerge on here from people who went, for what its worth, a 21 loss along way away against a high flying team is not a disaster, we shall see what the fans who went made of it in due course.

Battered them for half an hour particularly down the right with MD. Their defence were very shaky and we were egging Duffy Stanners and mullers to get on their backs and we were very much on top in this period gaining at least 5 corners without success and a few chances on goal which MD inparticular just wasn't strong enough with the final ball. If only we had a natural strikeforce rather than using backup we would p*** this league .. Those that watch MFC regularly now know what happened and we conceded a sloppy goal followed by a class strike from marvelous Marvin.

Game was screaming for a change but it came in a strange way from super sub Scott brown ask cc 8-)

Generally a good performance and we really deserved something. Jim was immense once again and hit the bar and Andy Parrish put in some great tackles, Jim seemed to be at fault for the first goal? Another 10 mins we may have made it. Very poor liner on our side.

Funny moment - 2 of us dancing the Morecambe Cavese. When they scored the chant was "you're not dancing anymore" when they scored the second it was "lets all do the Morecambe"

Sorry just needed to share that from the south coast ;)

Quite simply that the interviewer was asking leading questions designed to engineer positive comments from Sammy. For example, all that rubbish about bad luck, etc. If Sammy says we were poor and that 5 or 6 players didn't come to the party then I'm inclined to believe him, given he generally defends his players against detractors.

According to th Football League Show Sammy McIlroy gave Macclesfield a team talk at half time. No wonder the interviews are confusing people :?

If I rang your boss and asked him to express an opinion of you, I would expect him to defend you even if in private he thought you were slacking and needed to work harder, so I would expect Sammy to do the same and defend his players against detractors.

Actually, of course if I phoned your boss to ask about you, I would expect the conversation to be something like this... "and who are you? Keith who? why are you even asking me this, go away [click]"
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?
