You had me worried for a moment - I thought the American special forces had been sent in to get them out!
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

But it was God who put them there. If he'd wanted to help them surely he'd have dug the hole himself? (But I agree with the sentiment).

Apparently the last one out will be the foreman who has managed to maintain the morale of his men and was able to ration food supplies. Incidentally I've noticed he is also the largest gent down there. Role to be portrayed by Ricky Gervais in the style of David Brent!

The American's are supposedly trying to rescue Liverpool FC, Gerrard and Torres best dig out some flak jackets and hit the floor.

But all joking aside its been a fantastic feat of modern engineering, and compulsive viewing . a few years ago those miners would have perished. Well chuffed.
