Easy to remember unlike a lot of things from this rather enjoyable weekend. Although our No.10 wasn't playing our 10 outfield players got 10/10 from me and very shortly it will be 10 past 10 :o

Maybe we are now on a winning run which started on game 10.

My head hurts

BBC has a story about a boy celebrating his 10th birthday at 10.10 on 10.10.10. His Mum got him some Ben 10, a best of News at Ten video and £10. They celebrated with elevenses.

The first part is true. The rest is tenuous.

10/10 for initiative

Quite a popular day for people born on 10 October too, even though it is a Sunday today.

I suppose that in order to be born on Monday morning then you had to wait until Monday morning.
But at the time you neither cared, nor had any control over it

The Marina complex in Brighton is quite superb. If Morecambe had one it would get the crowds back without a doubt!

Went into Battle as well and found this

For those amongst us old enough to remeber that far back, the plans to put a barrage over the Bay would have provided a unique Marina and Sailing facility on the West Coast and would have been a possible financial lifeline for the town. Can't recall the actual estimated cost but in todays money it would have been peanuts I seem to recall.

The downside to that plan was that it brought Barrow nearer to civilisation

There was a massive opportunity when the speed limit on Lake Windermere was reduced. I know for a fact that many rather wealthy boat/yacht owners with moorings on caravan sites etc. no longer come to the area because they can't water ski any more. If they could have moored in Morecambe they probably would have. Having seen Brighton's Marina it is clear that millions of ££££££££££££££££'s of boats and yachts are moored and the apartments overlooking are not B&B's!! Consequently the restaurants and bars adjacent are raking it in.

No spare seating anywhere at lunchtime on Sunday, had to go back for an early tea instead
