Globe development?

Globe development?

Postby ezz » Wed Oct 06, 2010 10:14 am

Is there more to come?
The original plans had some sort of fast food establishment and hotel (may be wrong there).
Is that all still to go ahead at a later date or did I dream it up?
Get over it ;)

No dream.

When the nations economic conditions improve then those areas will attract the interest of the commercial sectors.

It may well be that negotiations are already at an advanced stage.... :?: :?: :?:

The area at the front is part of 'phase 2', I believe. As CC said it will depend on who is interested in developing the land to what actually happens. Talk of a fast food outlet and possibly a small hotel maybe?

If its going to be a while then I hope the club can stretch to a bit of grass seed to improve the look of entrance to the stadium!

My understanding is that the club were/are looking for companies to invest in building their own buisness units on the empty sites. The club would then charge a ground rent. Can't see any buildings going up very quickly if this is the arrangement. Something should be done with the site asap before it becomes populated by static homes!

Just hope that there's no copper pipes in the vicinity.

Does anyone know what is going to happen where that soil is as people walk up to the arena?
Also, when is that scoreboard arriving? If Fleetwood can do it......

The land is being left as it is, for now, it will be available for campers with tickets for next years globestockbury festival, artistes to be comfirmed (in the pool next to happy mount park, followed by tea and sandwiches in the bow window cafe)

I noticed that, on the left hand mound there was a couple of guys working and a pole sticking out of the ground, im sure they were also working on the other side yesterday.

I just look at the "NEXT MATCH v......" sign just before Skerton Bridge!! It's perverse, there's one at Skerton Bridge going into *******er but not outside the ground itself. :?
