Burnley Shrimp signing in.

Lived in wonderful Morecambe till the age of 18 but moved to the Burnley area with work and been there for the past 30 odd years. (Burnley is the town which makes the West End look like Beverley Hills)!

Season ticket holder and manage to make most of the Northern away games.

Hello!
I've just got back off another holiday.
Nowt exotic this time, just a caravan in Burnham-on-Sea.
Burnham has the shortest pier in the country, unlike the one that Marky1 is about to visit, which has the distinction as the most recent one to be destroyed under dubious circumstances!
Next month me and our Doris are off on a 3 week d-i-y jaunt to Tunisia. I'm taking my thobe, and Doris her abaya and Niqab, just in case we get too local!
We did Burma and a bit of Cambodia in February, and Cappadocia in June.
That'll be 10 weeks out of the country this year. That's the trouble with being an ex-serviceman, itchy feet comes my way too easy.
Out ambition is to visit more of the far flung than Keith.
I'm an exile btw, and live with Doris in Gosport, near Portsmouth.
Last game for us was Barnet at The Globe.
Next game for us, at Aldershot, on Saturday week.

We have the extremely blinkered, and those with an open mind.!
We have the totally thick, and, like me, the very intelligent.!!!
We have the pompous (in particular certain people who always inform us they sit in Block C),
and we have the rest.
We have the very amusing, including the odd poet, and we have some with verbal diarrhoea.
We have some who can spell, and others who may be able to when their voice breaks.
We even have some who like Sammy, but it takes all sorts.

All in all, a great crowd, and great entertainment. Thank you all, it is always a pleasure to Log on

Hello, I'm seasonsinthesun and spend a lot of time thinking about Terry Jacks's song, looking at my collection of Morecambe scarves, still contemplating The Dark Side of the Moon and walking the dog in Heysham.

I'm from Bradford ( Relative's live in Sunny Morecambe ) , and have followed, MFC on and off over the last 12 years, but first game I attended was in the early eighties, VS Rhyll.

I do get over for the occasional game, and the odd away one as well.

But currently giving a bit more time to my local mob, Bradford Park Ave FC, as Morecambe have out grown me (In a very nice sort of way), they have a lot more fans these days, and don't really need to rely on my support as much.
