Probably to get people into the bar in the first place as you could only vote by being there. I know the Stadium is being officially "opened on Saturday but find it strange to "open" the bar with its "new" thoughtful name when many of us have been in it a number of times already. Anybody shed any light on what a V.I.P. is? Can't think the Friday tea time regulars will be too happy when they are kicked out at 4.30

V.I.P. is for all the Block C season ticket holders but anyone that has a MBW stand season ticket will not be granted entry.................... ever
All MBW season ticket holders have to report to the ticket office to sign a form saying that
1. That they will not let anyone else play the drum
2. That their Morecambe scarfs all have a fire safety certificate (same applys to Pete Johnstons pants)
3 That at no point in the game will they sit on the terrace steps as you have only paid £15 to STAND.
If you fail to comply with any of the above, your season ticket will be taken off you and you will be banned for ever.

My feeling that the regular home fans are being neglected, maybe a lot of us could have afforded to be in block C but chose to remain with the REAL fans, going to cheer the lads on with true enthusiasm. Dare I suggest that even the players may feel they are coming second to all this big business push. Agreed the club needs to make lots of money but it is MORECAMBE FOOTBALL CLUB - COME ON THE SHRIMPS
