Was talking to a Hereford fan on Saturday, who has gone to most of the games, home and away, for years. Said he couldn't be bothered going to Barnet and is saving his money instead "what's the point in wasting money on yet another crap performance" :o

However he thanked "us" for taking Capaldi further away from Herefordshire, didn't give their manager very long and wasn't impressed with playing one up front and giving their goalkeeper the Captains armband.

At least he will be happier today

Feel sorry for Fenners but I thought upon the appointment it could be risky for him.
I presume he probably left his F/T job (& P/T coaching with PNE Youth) to take up the Asst Mgr's position @ the Bulls. Just hope he had the foresight to have not yet upheaved his young family from Cottam & moved down there so soon. Sadly, this first venture as an asst mngr won't stand him in much stead for future, I fear.

Hope he gets the job.

It would be interesting to see what sort of a team he builds and the type of game he employs for his first crack at League football.
