Scoring Direct From A Throw In

Apparently its not allowed, but DeLapp hit the post twice on Saturday. Robinson nearly knocked it in on one occasion, presume that would have counted?

And on the other occasion a defender got a slight touch on it. You can not score direct from a throw but any sort of touch by any player and it is a goal. The example below is a classic:
