The Sammy Shread your P45 and stay thread

Postby ezz » Tue Sep 28, 2010 12:08 pm

Keep up the good work, your the best manager we've had. Even though its barely possible to improve every season you've done it so far and to do so again would leave us in league 1...... so tough expectations but even if we dont achieve that we are here because of you and I for one won't panic if we finish in the bottom half as we are still where we want to be (Football league).

So thanks Sammy, keep doing what your doing (even if it means bollocking and dropping players)

Well if you cant see what Sammy has done for this club then its not rose tinted specs that you need, more like a trip to spec savers.

Lets see where we are at Christmas before any serious calls for the manager's head.

The preporation for the season was far from ideal and many teams take a while to settle into new surroundings. Southampton needed a witch doctor to break the curse of their new ground!

Sammy deserves some time, but isn't invincible, should results continue to be poor. I am still confident of a top half finish though, which for a small club in its first season in a new ground shouldn't be seen as a disaster.

We seemed quite settled and prepared with the team and the ground when we played Coventry off the park. ;) . Who was that guy controlling the midfield and scoring a couple of goals , does he still play for us :?: is he injured :?: or is he in detention. :o

oh yes!!!! i was hoping somebody would bump this one :P

now seriously lets be right about this, you could argue SM stumbled across this wining team just like he as in the past after a lot of the new signings and tactics fail.

it was only because of injuries Bentley & Stanley came back into the team along with the old team spirit and the old guard do it again?

and not so much of a case of shrewd management tactic know how you may be referring to..
