What about Superted, Bananaman,Trapdoor, Rainbow, Familyness, Jimbo (not Bentley).

I used to love watching "planet of the apes" on a friday night, my guilty pleasures were "button moon" and a rarely seen programme called " chorlton and the wheelies", aaah good memories of a more innocent time when we still had white dog poo.
