Ronnie O'Sullivan [didn't we use O/T back in 2010?]

Won his match at the World Open against Mark King with a 147 break in bizarre style. When he was on 8 he asked the referee if there is a prize for a 147. The answer was no but he continued and produced a 147 which included a couple of sublime shots.

His critics will call him another modern day sportsman who is obsessed with money and not his sport. However I totally disagree. Ronnie is the most entertaining and naturally talented player in the world. He hasn't won as many titles as he should have done, but he has entertained a lot of people and made Snooker much more appealing. A contemporary Alex Higgins in many ways, talented and entertaining yet troubled.

He has his critics for some of his antics but I don't think he's ever been accused of this.

He's right, such occasions are only done by players of the highest quality and even then they are very rare......it does deserve a larger prize than £4000

The guy is a legend. No question.

I'd like to know how many 147's Ronnis has made in total, in competition and in practice. I bet, if truth be known, it's well into 3 figures.

I think this was his 10th competetive 147, overtaking Stephen Hendry who has 9

   I've been stitched up!

His interviews are always like this though. This one just happened to be about money but he's always a bit hostile and enigmatic in his interviews whatever the subject. Though I'm sure he'd deny it, he does seem to just like drawing attention to himself with some of his antics and things he spouts. I don't think he could care less about the money otherwise he'd have been in China the other week cashing in.

Ronnie has said that if no-one else gets a maximum break and he wins the £4,000 he will be donating it to charity.

I like Ronnie alot I really do and now with his new format best of 5 is good and reason why Ronnie has only won 3 world titles is because of the time of the tournament ie best of 35 in the final he like I guess the short and sweet game.

Also I like Jed Trump he is only 19 from England I think he will be the new O Sullivan I love snooker have done since 1995

O'Sullivan is a knob. Alex Higgins & Jimmy White always played for the people. Ronnie has so much talent but can't be arsed. He is far too arrogant to be likeable anymore, shame really.

He's just had an incredible 72 break in the final. As John Parrott said "you couldn't have cleaned up from there with a Hoover!!"

Did he win? Like him or not but he's awesum and people love him for it. He's not a snob he's just lost passion for what he does whilst still being incredible at it.

Ronnie had a hit and miss final vs Neil Robertson the world champion of last year.

Lost 5-1.

I know Ronnie says he does not want to play Snooker and wants to retire within a 1-2 years if 2 years is the longest.

Why can he not say look this guy ( Neil Robertson ) is a huge talent been loving Neil since I seen him play in the LG Cup about 6 years ago playing Chris Small.

I love my snooker future is Jedd Trump the new Ronnie I think

Although a massive talent, and probably my favourite ever player, Ronnie always has a sulk like this after a Final defeat and talks of retiring and hanging his cue up.

He'll come out of it and be back at the top of his game for the next tournament !

Seasider I loved the way Ding played during this tournament I did and sounds like he is ready to challenge for the World Title again or UK Open.

Also Mark Selby and Robertson are my two favourite players in the last 5 years with Stevens close also and now not cheating Higgins

he doesn't exactly have an intense rivalry with anyone, the older names are fading out and nothing to inspire him to improve and become unbeatable again. Needs someone to go out and literally start winning everything to make him give a damn
