For those travelling by car/minibus to Southend

Postby Sufcinpeace » Wed Sep 15, 2010 2:37 pm

I know its early, but just incase I forget ( Old age :? ), the M25 has road works due to widen of the lanes and is 50 mph for around 6 miles, so extra time may be needed as lorries slow down this speed

Now the big one and please, please note this on the main road to Southend you will more than likely use the A 127 which leads direct into Southend and the ground, be very careful of the different speed limit it goes from 60,40,50,30 in a short time and the speed cameras are everywhere and do work, so if you want a cheap day and not get a ticket keep to the speed limit show it goes on for about 5 miles
Traffic is normal heavy from12.30 on A 127, alternative route is A 13 but this 30mph bumper to bumper single lane and not very easy to explain to someone who doesnot know the area

If I can help let me know on here or Weststandviews.com

Thanks, was already considering cutting across then down the M11 to avoid M25

Is it worth going through Chelmsford?
