Why, do they not let you walk out of the open exit gate, to the right of the home end when the match has finished. Why do they insist you have to use the one behind the stand. There was nobody going through that gate at the time,do they expect trouble from from our own supporters or something. or is it for their own importance.

Same at the Burnley game, everyone around me found it rather amusing that wouldn't let us walking straight into a clear exit, whilst there was 2000 people trying to squeeze through two small gates.

I keep meaning to say something as it takes ages to get out where it could be so much simpler, is very congested and it takes ages to get round that corner. The reason appears to be that they don't want fans going into the Main Stand and getting in to the Wright & Lord Suite. Fair enough and understandable as people have paid for the right.

There is a possible solution. At the moment they have five security staff blocking access. Instead they could easily do it with three. Two would stand between the pitchside rail and the floodlight. Fans could then go on the other side of the floodlight and out. A third could stand by the rail facing the exit and make sure no one tried to come into the Main Stand. Job done and two security staff saved, all by stepping back four feet.

We'll see but as it stands it is daft.

it takes ages though, all they need to do is just move back and insure that no one walks through, easy enough, even for some of those muppets

You should try exiting Anfield in the home end where the boxes are. One sided exit for over 10'000 people

I think its quite a good thread actually, as i have seen the other gate.
You're just as bad as the person starting the thread by opposing what he's saying IMO.

Yes he is complaining but its in the best interest of the fans so theres nothing wrong with that in my eyes and by the looks of it everyone elses apart from yours.

oh sorry to bump this

but the security in the home end is not Lingwood's security, it's the clubs own security in the home stand

and incidentally Lingwood security agree and will look to advise that them gates should be open in the future

What Dawzi is saying is right..Lingwoods now have nothing to do with the home end appart from assisting if there is a prob that they cannot sort out themselves..Lingwoods look after most of the other areas appart from the home end..I'm sure the club are looking at ways of improving things..Just a little bit of patience is needed until this can be resolved..I know its frustrating. :?

It was worse for the first few games as all the "big game" fans were at the ground. Now things have calmed down a bit & we are back to our usual crowds it is not so bad.

Should be more security coming up seen it in the job center today.

Maybe this is because of the next game Barnet and then
Bury
