Ted Robbins was brilliant in Phoenix Nights as Den Perry.

Also, (many years ago ! late 80's?) I went to see an episode of Red Dwarf being filmed in Manchester (the episode where they landed on a planet and everything was backwards and in reverse ! Very funny ! Before Red Dwarf went crap) and Ted Robbins was the warm up comedian for the audience. Had everyone in stitches !!
