Before yesterday, I had only been in the club shop, ticket office hatch and Block D, so I really enjpyed the opportunity to look round the sponsors boxes, the bar area, the Wright & Lord Suite and the changing rooms. It was interesting to do the walk from the home changing room through the tunnel to the pitch...yes, we all have our dreams
The players were great, and it certainly makes me feel closer to the club, being allowed to get autographs for my son (who had to be at school), and to chat to Paul Mullin ,what a superb bloke he is! Stewart Drummond, Barry Roche and Neil Wainwright.I asked him about his injury and he said he was "getting there."
I may stand corrected on this next point, but as the players were in for training anyway, and some staff were on duty as normal, would it be naive to suggest that it wouldn't take an awful lot to repeat this again later this season, maybe Christmas time or March/April?
It is good for the club, and it made me feel even better about supporting my local team.
