Carl Ruffer. Hugely talented and had a great professional attitude.

Seriously though, for his impact and importance to the club it's easily Jim Bentley. In terms of the most talented player I've seen then it's probably Carl Baker.

Neil Hardy was brilliant and never gets a mention in these threads. Shame on you all.

Since I've been watching Morecambe (December 2006) it would have to be Roche!

In my time that i ahve been watching, the best player i have witnessed has to be Lewis and Baker, but i'm only 15 :)

Ian Monk? Always remember his debut against Scouseport back in 1995 when he ripped them apart. Justin Jackson on his day was pretty awesome too.

To be honest though neither would probably get into our current side, so maybe our best ever player is actually playing now?

Tommo would definitely slot straight back in though. Maybe he is No1? Never saw Lewis or Baker in a Morecambe Shirt.
