Looks like were going to be the first team to beat them on their own patch as a premier league side :)

some good performances notably from Garry Hunter but the lads did really well
was impressed with jimmy spencer would like to see him in a few more games
the number 8 and 11 for blackpool youth team had some quality about them
stephen husband and kingsley francis-reynolds
and the keeper was busy all night a scottish under 19 international

Decent performance and result against albeit a very young looking Blackpool side, On that performance I reckon Spencer deserves a go on saturday if we were to go 442. Also Brown looked good and topped it off with a great goal probably my MOM.

Brown looked good but hes a lad with some pedigree looking at his wiki cv
i think the injury he had probabaly set him back but a qulaity player and was busy and as you say his goal was a cracking strike

On the way out of the ground there were alot of Blackpool supporters worried that "theres no way the ground will be ready for Saturday"
The area in front of the kit form stand is crushed hardcore, as is the area where you enter & exit the ground. The turnstiles aren't ready. There is no exit gate except a temporary fence.

There are restricted views in the new stand, & just a minor detail to get sorted.
Where are the floodlights??. (didnt see any on the roof) :?
For most of the second half the game was played in partial darkness

there are no advert boards any where round the pitch

Blackpool website had crowd at "over 2500" a good game, morecambes experienced players certainly gave the edge against thier u18 squad but was good experience and exposure for a couple of our youngsters.

Blackpools academy side will be a handfull when the under 18's play them on 25th sept.
