Credit where it's due, all the best Tony.

Again, agree completely.

How anyone could think that the banter on Saturday was any more than that, is amazing!
Tony Roberts is a STAR and not a bad goalie either.
Christies banter with some players and fans is great too, he's certainly no jinx and I hope he's a fixture for many years to come

Does anybody think that the F.A.. will do anything about tony roberts's smack on Christie.the Cat.iNo they wont. IAM up for the banter that he was getting off a section of our fans in the north stand,HE WAS TAKING IT WELL.and was funny, but he could have just tapped Christie THE CAT on the back of the head, instead of hitting him VERY Hard.what sort of example was he showing towards the small children in the crowd hey.

The cat is pure comedy.................................. but it was only a matter of time before a referee said something, it's ok to do it during the half time interval, but he can't get involved during the game....................no matter how funny it is :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Are you christie the cat?

Doubt it, those paws would need one hell of a large keyboard to be able to type anything sensible.

On the other hand, reading MTID08's messages .....

Spoke to Christie yesterday afternoon. He's quite upset about it and is thinking of sending some RSPCA literature to Mr. Roberts.

By the way the ref wasn't at all happy with him!! No doubt trying to take the fun out of a dire game :( :(

Roberts was playing along with it, his 'acted' indignation was superb. Christie and him knew exactly what was going on. Even the ref played along after he'd done the necessary and moved Christie to the side. Great stuff.

The only person in a position to complain would be Christie himself. Given that he followed up the altercation with some shadow boxing at the corner flag in unison with Tony Roberts, I can only guess there are no hard feelings. I'm more concerned about my son who was treated to an Exorcist impression from the cat as his head spun round. Luckily he was too busy laughing his own head off to care. Swiftly followed by joining in with a chant about Mr Roberts and a Turkey. Don't tell his mum, we'll both get into trouble.

Tony Roberts is always good value when he comes to the pie but our chanting doesn't put him off, he just thrives on it and plays better the b****** ( see semi final penalty saves for evidence)

Personally its the cat thats a nuisance well done to Tony Roberts for taking the chants in good humour, aside that he is a top keeper wonder why Sammy didnt try to sign him close season particuklarily as the daggers were not great shakes last year they may have considered letting him go.What price now there top of the bunch!

Maybe because Barry has many more playing years ahead of him? Remember, Roberts is older than Andy Warrington!!!

If you're that concerned about the impression the children would gain, why not complain of the words "w@nker", "b@astard" or "f*cking sh*t"? Or even the shorts dropping from Roberts? Crikey-call child protection.
Get a bloody grip this was one of the best games I've been to for years, in spite of the score.

What the fans wanted was for him to have greasy palms and let a few more balls into the net. Unfortunately, it didn't happen!
