Positivity - where as it gone !!!!

Positivity - where as it gone !!!!

Postby Blackpool Shrimp » Mon Aug 16, 2010 1:40 pm

Cant believe all the negativity on this board at the moment...yes there as been problems with tickets, food and ground etc but nothing that cant be changed in future...all new grounds have teething problems but I am sure the club are doing the best things possible to resolve them all ....onwards and upwards (and my opinion of the globe its excellent)

Don't think people have actually been "negative" John. In my book its not what you say it's the way that you say it and the Club are openly asking for comments about their stadium experience, views will be noted and dealt with accordingly. All I can say is it's the abusive, over the top stuff that was unacceptable I.M.O. Bit like that guy in the queue this morning who took inpatience to the extreme. The lady is simply selling tickets Sir, let her get on with her job.

Feedback can only be positive in the long run. Like you say, things will get sorted out.

Although i don't think you can move a Corner Flag!

I think it is a fall out from not being able to play any pre-season matches at The Globe. If there had been a problem with serving pies at a friendly or difficulty with the tickets selling then, people would probably have accepted it easier. But in reality, the club are playing catch up so the teething problems are still being addressed. The concern of course is that if people are becoming so frustrated, they may not return. For this reason, an explanation and apology from the club would perhaps help. Perhaps it's not 'negativity' but feedback?

So how did that work out then?

possibly the 3 biggest gates of the season to start off with (assuming a few extras were there on saturday as it was the first league game there), only Bradford could top that gate and i think their away support has dwindled down over the last couple of years

It's still here, in terms of the stadium and negativity.....i'm sure the board read this forum with great interest to see our views on how to improve what we already have.
Plus we havn't won in the league yet :D
Get over it ;)
