had a gentle walk into town yesterday afternoon and walked past the Clarendon Hotel and it's bar/ reataurant "The Waterfront" and noticed the prices

eg
two fish, chips and mushy peas £10
or steak night,
two steak meals and bottle of wine £20

might give it a try sometime

anyone eaten here??
good or bad??
cheers

The last time I went (must be about a year ago now) the food was good, but it's been decorated in a way that it just feels, well, dead! There's just no atmosphere in the place. A shame because it's always been a nice place with decent enough food.
HOWAY THE SHRIMPS!!!!!

On topic(ish) and proud!
