We are away at a recently League One side. Of course we are going to start with one up front going for the draw

Playing jevons on his own/without a target man has never worked. :?

in the first 30mins it sounded like when had a lot of possession and was getting a lot of crosses in the box but there were being headed clear

but who can you take off in midfield in order to play two forwards? and pull the game back?

Take off Moss, push Scott into CB, move Parrish to RB, and put Mullin up front to get onto the crosses supplied by the wingers and fullbacks, attacking down the wings with Stanley and Drummond keeping it tight in the centre.

This. And it sounds like Drummond isn't doing very well so perhaps get Fleming or Hunter on.

just gone past the 60min mark, should be looking to make changes and bring a big target man to play off Spencer/Mullin?

From looking at the BBC text commentary, seems like we're firing in the crosses still but nobody's on the end of them and they're getting cleared. With 10 minutes to go we might as well throw another body into the box and see if we can nick one. Can't see goal difference having too much influence come the end of the season, so might as well go for it and get those subs on.

From the BBC stats Wycombe have had two shots on target and scored from both, although Morecambe haven't had any

Wycombe should've had a player sent off, first goal was harsh second goal didn't seem to close Pitman down and he had time to curl it in,

Sounded like ref was not up to much, bit one sided from how I heard Quinny's commentary. Only game one so lads need time to get into gear, Tuesday will be different we hope :?: :?:

Not too bad sounds like we were a bit unlucky to lose 2-0.
Just listening to Preston fans on the radio there is always some-one worse off then us.
Oh well roll on Coventry :!:

On way back now and you are absolutely correct. We didn't deserve to lose 2-0 and we could and should have scored at least one.

All the new lads played well, it was mostly Drummond and the referee who caused us problems. Drummond had a mare, loads of misplaced passes and was struggling to keep up. Fleming would have been more useful. For much of the game we were their equal. The penalty was absolute tripe...their guy just fell over out lad's heels. We had a better shout for a pen turned down and they got away with absolute murder at times.

Despite having next to nothing on goal we had some really great efforts, notably a cracking Scott header in the first half and a Stanley screamer that just curved away from the top corner at the last second.

McCready was very good, he got in some tremendous blocks and tackles, headed well, was quick and soon began to look to play the ball out of defence. We hardly ever resorted to kick and rush tactics, which of course pleases me despite losing.

Scott was excellent, he is strong and intelligent with great heading ability.

Rundle wasn't int the game a great deal but obviously has something about him and tucked in a few good crosses.

Shuker had a very busy game and looks quality. Some of his crosses were custom made for Mullin to nut in.

Roche made a fantastic save at the end of the first half with his legs to keep us in it.
Moss didn't shine, but didn't play badly.
Parrish...summat and nowt.
Wilson was ok and started to link up with Rundle eventually.
Drummond...not good today.
Stanley had a good second half and showed his usual energy.
Jevons bustled around without being outstanding.
Subs Mullin did ok. Duffy didn't get much time on.

Don't fret too much about this loss, the new lads look better than the ones who left and once we get a few games together will be a major force. My prediction of 5th place after 46 games is pessimistic.

Bring on Coventry and Rotherham, neither stand a chance ;)
