and I have just realised there is a good chance I could be moving house that day.

That could be intresting leaving my new g/f in our new house with piles of boxes and saying see you later I'm of to football.

Any idea what the barcode/scan code thing is all about? Are we having electronic turnstyles?

I think originally they wanted a plastic card rather than a book. I would suggest the technology is on the turnstile but we are waiting for the card - probably next season?

I lot of the bigger clubs use this system very easy to use just scan the card and go through this also means less people are needed to woek on the turnstiles.

I've heard that tickets are going to be available over the internet and you can choose your seat from an image of the stadium you will even be able to see who is sat next to you!!! all the ticketing system is computerised so we wont have to put up with the debacle of seated tickets being sold twice!!!
electronic/computerised turnstiles !!!
cash on the tunstiles everywhere apart from the main stand, where you will have to go to the ticket office to buy your ticket or buy online and have your tickets sent to your door!!!!
All this for a league 2 club Quality!!!

My old man purchased a few today and the last one was something like 1062 which is not bad for the first day of sales, i'm gonna say about 4500 attendence for this one but it woudn't come as a shock if the game was a sell out.

Are you sure about that? Wouldn't it fly in the face of the Data Protection Act or something?

My rather unattractive ticket is numbered 10843, so I wouldn't hold much stock in them helping you guess the attendance.

Unless they started at 10000 meaning yours is the 843rd to be sold. I can't imagine too many being sold until the panic buying starts next week.
