coventry Vs rotherham

OK, i no longer live in the area (now in NE) and can only go to one of these games, which would be best? the sat would be a little easier for me, and first home league game, but the tuesday trumps it, if *only* for a league cup game (and i've been to some belting league cup games in the past *cough* preston *cough*).

what would SV recomend?

Let me know if and when you are travelling down (and to which game) and whether car sharing would be an option?

Tough choice! Some would say the League is more important. It is our 1st League game at the new Stadium against one of our serious competitors for the top places and we have no chance of winning The Carling Cup.

Others would say 1st competitive game at the new Stadium, night match under the new floodlights, Carl Baker returns, 1st chance to see our new team in serious competition, could be a full house.

I can let you know 5p.m. on Saturday 14th August which one you should have gone to!

In any other season, I'd say Rotherham would be more important but with Coventry being a bigger team and the historical first ever game at The Globe, I'm taking time off work to be there.

The correct answer of course, is go to both!

So how did that work out then?

Has to be Coventry. First game at the Globe. Attractive opposition. The Rotherham game could be important come May but as a one of game its on the same level as any other league match, nothing special (unless we destroy them). The first game at the Globe is a historical event and will always be remembered regardless of the result, the same can't be said for Rotherham. Also, assuming we are to win both matches, which would you rather see. For me it would be Coventry as it would be up their with our victories at Preston and Wolves. I didn't go to Wolves, now I regret that decision. I hope you don't make the same mistake with Coventry.
