Wanna share the info..... :?: :?: :?:

If it's at Blackburn's Training Ground, there'll be no way you can watch pitch side...I seem to recall.

But from behind a bush..... :?: :?: :?:

The senior squad usually train on the main pitch at the front of the estate which is in full view for anyone that drives past it. Provided that the game is played there, you can park in the Avenue car park and watch from the field adjacent to it.

Of course, if it is played on any other pitch .... you will need to ask for permission to view.

The Blackbun Rovers game is STRICTLY behind closed doors, and the club would expect any supporters planning to go to respect this. It is not a game open to supporters and enquiries have been made already. It is the same for Rovers supporters too.

I would ask that anyone planning to chance their arm doesn't bother, as, firstly, you are quite likely to be refused entry, and secondly, the club would take a dim view of anyone breaching that security and abusing the fact that the clubs want it as a private game. I am not going myself for that reason, as the club do not want it publicising.

Whilst the Wrexham game was technically behind closed doors, there were a few people there. It came to light that certain triallists appearance and subsequent performance would have been subject to an embargo which is why Mark received the phone call that evening. I suspect it's the same today.

Thanks for the welcome info.I WAS planning on going but respect the clubs wishes for the game to remain private.

I'm sure that post match info about the game from a club official would be welcome by all SVs....even if it was just the final score.

You're welcome Neil. And I hope so too!

I'm going to Barrow to see them play a Man City XI this afternoon for my footy fix!

Points are awarded for every goal scored. AEK Athens ran away with it with Rangers second, Blackburn who have had a poor tournament will finish third.

anyone know if Terry McFlynn played for Sydney F C today.

IMHO a big mistake when J H froze him out of the club.

We should be up against Rovers Res who include former Macc striker Nick Blackman who has scored 7 pre-season goals so far.

How was the match? Partick left it a bit late didn't they. Interestingly the attendance of 1025 is 1/8 of Annan's population. If Morecambe had that population to attendance ratio then we would get 5265. Goes to show how amazing Annan Athletic's story is.
