It's all over. A 4-1 victory for Morecambe. Good performance from the lads. Nice to see Andy Parrish marshalling the defencce having been given the armband.

Just to correct you, McCreadie scored the first, header from an excellent Rundle cross (my MoM by the way), Hendrie with the second and Haining with a shot from just outside the area for the third. What do I win? :ugeek:

Sounds like a good run out a good win and 4 goals will have given them a bit of confidence as well.

Yeah confusion as usual even with the team sheet in your hand and the player purchasers helping :o - thanx!

Much better all round, that 1st goal was a joy to watch although Kendal didn't get going till 2nd half.

Get Hendrie signed now! - please

Tiny in stature but makes up for it big style.

Goaly is ok too. Not a large frame but good hands. Far happier than last week apart from the news about the North Stand

Agree with Mark.... get Hendrie signed up as well as Walker. If there's any spare change Simpson could be worth a punt too....

I heard that the North stand steps are to be dug up because rumor has it that the police have it on good information that a Mr D Lock could be under the concrete

But you would not know anything about it would you Mods?

So that explains why our Commercial Director was wearing site boots at Kendal last night. Straight from a stint of digging at the Globe to Parkside...

Spencer did look rather good, but I was well impressed with Scott and Rundle.

As for the confusion over the scorers, McCredie was announce wearing 6 but was wearing 4 when he scored the first with a powerful header from a Rundle cross.
Haining was wearing 6 and playing in front of Parrish/McCreadie when he scored the 3rd from outside the box.

Yeah Spencer started as per M.Player team sheet although there was confusion with McCready and Will wearing each others shirts. Spencer made a good foil for Hendrie who for me is like a Beardsley style whippet in the box. Was nice to see Rundle & Wainwright playing as wingers. It was as if Kendal had been told to stand back to let us practice getting the ball in the box. We went forward as a team rather than lumping it up in the air in fact its nice not to have a stiff neck for a change!

Andy Parrish relished his opportunity in the centre but Scott was right back where he previously stated he didn't want to be. This team worked well but with Baz. Moss.Jimbo. Stanners. Jev. Mullin. Drummy and Duffy waiting in the wings I just hope Sammy & Mark can get the right blend by next week. Very difficult to predict the starting line up IMO

I thought Rundle looked a class act , some superb crosses and very tricky.

The boy Hendrie should be signed immediately. Ok there will be compensation for his club but he looks a natural finisher and could move on to greater things so a good investment.

The Keeper had good hands as Mark said but he did make a bit of a balls up of one clearance,
But we have had bad kickers previously. He hade amends in the second half with a fine tip over. Hendrie has some seriously fast feet he turned the defence inside out for his goal.
Wainwright looks to have summered well, producing a bit more spring in his step, dumping a defender on his arrrs at one point earning a cheer from the crowd. Andy Parrish just gets better and I have to admit that when he first came I thought he was a bit of a lightweight
and was not struck  . Kendal town forum this morning one or two are having a go at the addmission price, recon the club had out priced the game to make a quick buck and it had backfired on them. Oh and it was good to see young Cowperthwaite get 5 at the end ..Like I said on a previous post "If he's owt like his Father, he will be a good un"

Surprised that nobody has mentioned Lawrie in their summing up.

Looked impressive in his short time on the field. For me worth an extended look and has experience at our level. Could he be Sammy's surprise choice for the additional striker. :?: :?: :?:

Hendrie is worth a contract without doubt. With full time coaching he could be 'money in the bank'.

Can never have enough strikers for me. ;)
