Personally i liked Dave, was'nt very quick and did'nt distribute very accurately but his reading of the game, his valuable goalscoring and his leadership skills WILL be missed.
Anyway he's gone now so let's look forward.
Ntini wrote:I didn't think letting Dave go was as huge as some people are making out. That's just personal opinion. In my eyes we have a replacement in Paul Scott who I believe should play centre back alongside Will Haining.
What I am worried about is that we seem to have lost our strength in depth. We let go a fair few players (quite rightly in my opinion), and now I think we need a few quality signings to push us forward (and bring us nearer to a 'full' squad). Hopefully they will come soon, as there isn't too long for them to gel in with their new team mates!

trust you to make yourself at home! busy having a haircut no doubt
Velkopopovický Kozel
This beer may be familiar to those who frequent the Wetherspoons pub chain in the UK; the draught version is far superior to its bottled counterpart. Kozel is another one of the smaller breweries whose product is becoming harder to find on tap. The best option is The Black Ox (U Cerneho Vola) near Prague Castle. The pub is one of the oldest in Prague and is run by the Friends of Beer Party. All profits go to a nearby school for blind children.
I did'nt know the Czechs invented lager
P/T Indie wrote:I went to Prague a few months back it was brilliant there are a few brewery/pub/restraunt places some are more touristy than others, we found one where all the local people went to and it was brilliant (sorry I can't remb the name but it's just round the corner from the Bethlehem chapel) and they looked after us really well and it was reasonable.
I found a bottle of Kozel for 60p up at a tea hut at the old city walls which are about a 5 min tram ride south of the city.
anyway back to football we seem to have a lot of midefielders, Fleming, Scott, Drummound, Hunter, Stanley. Did I read Flemming is a bit of a defensive midfielder as well the same as Scott? Could this be a new look midfield with some of our favourites having to settle for a place on the bench?

...just throwing that in there as a possibility!
It would see Jimbo, Drummy, Hunter, Mullin et al. on the bench, but not a bad prospect for another strong season...
