You never know. The McDonalds on Morecambe Road was up in 24 hours or something wasn't it

You'd be very surprised at how fast a steel shell structure can go up.

From memory thats now owned by the guy who owns the BP stations on Oxcliffe Road Heysham and Owen Road, Lancaster

the guy is waiting to see if sainsburys will open a petrol station.......

I'd bet in their contract with builders, they'll be paid compensation per day if it isn't built on time.

There is no petrol station in the plans and the guy who owns the old petrol station site on Lancaster Road had issues with Esso in changing it to a BP, hence why it has laid dormant since he bought it.

Sainsburys haven't been keeping this a secret. Anyone who phoned the 0800 number plastered all over the fencing and asked about the car wash being turned into a petrol station were told they were talking to the garage owners ;)
