Last Open Doors Game Before the Real Stuff Starts

Last Open Doors Game Before the Real Stuff Starts

So after a few kickabouts and trialists etc. will tomorrow nights game at Kendal be a stroll in the park or will be getting towards our starting line up. We know Kendal will be up for it.

I presume we will be making mass substitutions, but one thing is for sure ~

We will get soaked as usual!

Sammy obviously does'nt like playing in front of us anyway

"The proposed Morecambe friendly will not now be going ahead. Shrimps' boss Sammy McIlroy has had a change of heart and the fixture is now off. This still leave the Reds with a free Saturday on the 31st July."

Are we not playing a Rovers 11 behind closed doors ie the Uni?

Are the South Lakes Crew going? Me and Mrs Lion are having a 'should we shouldn't we' debate.

Yes we want to go...it is on our doorstep.
No it isn't going to happen or is just a waste of time and money cos Sammy is likely to

a) call it off at the last minute

b) field the Under 16s with a bunch of totally obscure triallists

c) make it a behind closed doors effort

d) re-arrange to the Globe training pitch

e) play a Players Navy Cut Full Strength and we will miss out on the real Morecambe FC players of the imminent season

phooowwweeeee :D

More Gee and Tees for me!

If it's anything like last season we'll get the run around.

I'd be pleased IF we paraded some new trialists of quality.....but think I'm going to be let down.

Not sure if the bus has been booked for the South Lakes crew..... :?: :?: :?:
