Our traditional slow start continues! The main focus has to be fitness, we are a long way behind most teams. By the time we play Coventry we will be in top form :D

Well its a good job we didnt have our strongest team out today or that would have been another bad result, and plus we did beat that ex league team Wrexham the other day, oh and how did we do against those part timers from over the bay ??????????

Opininated I back you on this one.

Morecambe played Barrow in the first friendly and yes it was awful performance but Barrow were match sharp.
And against Wrexham we won 3-2
And as far as I know it was 0-0 vs York City.
And we got Paul Simpson son on the sub bench and he came on in the second half.
This player was young player of the year last year at Shrewsbury.
Friendlies do matter of course 1} Fitness 2) For the team to gel 3) Confidence.

Would you say it is only friendlies would you say Man City will have a awful season because I watched them yesterday and the team looked awful and lost 2-0 in the USA .

Come on Morecambe cant wait

Wow, its pre-season, couldn't care less about results at this stage. It's the same people who are waiting time after time for the slightest little blip, whether it be during the season or even pre-season, same goes for the new stadium.

Bring on the Wycombe game, where im sure the players will be more than ready.

I agree so what about the stadium it be ready for the Coventry game.

And pre season form well done Morecambe have been hit and miss but remember we have played new signings and players are injured like Bentley.
And also we got the players on trials here.

I do think we will sign 3-4 more player by the end of August Patience is key to Football

Decent game, deserved a 0-0, but Roche (who played the full match) fumbled at a direct free kick and the ball slipped through his legs. Trialists looked hungry. I think overall it was a good workout with some neat passing moves. 36 MFC fans in attendance!

I am only talking that fans are knocking Morecambe because of what happened today.

But it does not matter because we are playing players on trials or on free transfer and new signing so of course it will take a while four the team to gel.

We got also players like Jim Bentley injured our leader.

And about the stadium people talk about the money missed out due to the home friendlies .

But 5-10 years ago I was told Christie Park was a nightmare ground and it has improved .

Now look at Morecambe a good strong League Two team looking for a new home The Globe and gaining to League One you never know we can do it

Somewhat surprised at the line up at Ko. Surely for trialists to be given time to impress they have to start from the off.

How many trialists did we have that came on and any names?

Result was certainly an improvement on Tuesday but was the performance?

It would seem so still bit strange we take player on trial then don't give them a full game to show what they can do :?
