Bishop to Grimsby?

Bishop to Grimsby?

Postby marky No.1 » Sat Jul 24, 2010 10:18 am

There has been much speculation about Andy Bishop of late. He's tied in with a lucrative contract at Bury but due to injuries has'nt played a lot and has only bagged a few goals. Anybody taking over his contract would be taking a real risk and probably an expensive one! in the meantime can Bury afford to keep paying the wages?

Casper at Grimsby does have his connections and no doubt, even in the current climate, I could envisage them as being a Club to go through with it.

Would he be prepared to drop a League I wonder

i know it's Vital Football but what the hell.

Let's see how long we can keep it on topic eh?

How old is that article. Casper left Grimsby a few weeks ago.

Yep my news is slightly out of date :( Apparently the deal was all settled in principle but Bury pulled out.

More realistic than the Bishop to Morecambe rumour I think!
