What the hell only a 3-2 win vs Wrexham so what.

We won simple the performance had to be better than the game vs Barrow erm yeah.

Let see the positives in football what would happen if we beat say Oxford at they ground only by 1 goal No Oxford were a conference team last season.

Look football league league two to the conference is very close and tight and I do think that many conference can beat the league 2 teams home or away.

Well Done Morecambe on your victory

wrexham's second string played Liverpool reserves yesterday and got a very creditable 0-0 draw, very well organised,Dean Saunders sends out a well drilled and hard working side, so if we've managed to edge a win against them at this stage in our preparation we should be happy.

I think Wrexham may well have a very good season in the conference this year. our season doesn't need to be about hitting the ground running it's about building momentum and I believe we will do just that.

Guys

I got a phone call tonight.

As a favour, please could we not mention any names of trialists, if they scored and how they performed.

The matches are 'behind closed doors' and the club are trialling one or two chaps who are also being followed by other clubs.

Of course we are all desparate to know who is playing and if they are going to be signed up but we would all be gutted if we lost out to a cracking prospect due to discussion on here. The 'behind closed doors' matches are an advantage to us and we should respect that and be pleased with the opportunity IMO. Of course any public games are in the public domain.

Not long til the new season! :D

Great result, but not too sure about Mark Lillis's geography:-

Yes, Darren, in fact Wrexham is so near Wales it could almost be in it.

I'm going up to Fuengirola soon. It's kind of a bit near Spain.

I think what is different this season is as stated is that they are behind closed doors and they are private.

Not going to name names on here Sean, but it was a club official. As a supporter of the club I dont think it is too much to respect a small request like that do you?

Bearing in mind we lost the signing of Andy Welch to Yeovil a couple of years ago when it was thought his signature was in the bag probably a news black-out on all triallists is sensible.
