sounds like its down to us and how much we want to sign the guy ... compensation could be the main problem

Well Sammy has done his homework by seeing the guy in action only last week.

Maybe he's not what Sammy is after BUT I hope that there are others in the pipe line as it's getting worrying that we don't appear to be covered in a number of positions especially in defence which as everybody on SVs will remember was my concern last season.

Will he or won't he? I think it's definitely possible that he might.

Hello everyone a Wrexham fan here.

I understand Fleming played 60 minutes of the friendly today against you. It looks as though the friendly was arranged to showcase Flemings talents as we have had friendlies the last 2 nights so were not short of match practice.

I'm not sure what sort of player you are expecting or are short of but Fleming is a very good holding midfielder who covers lots of ground and breaks up the opposition play. He is not short of skill but prefers to play it easy and sometimes passes sideways or backwards too often but rarely gives it away. Put a creative player next too him and your laughing.

It would be sad to see him go but it looks as though Saunders has seen his arse with him for asking for a payrise(rumoured to wany £850p.w.). If you do sign him I think he will be good enough for the Championship in a couple of years so you should make a healthy profit.

The stumbling block I believe will be the amount of compensation we ask for as he has come through our youth system and we would probably be looking for more than £40,000. Would your budget stretch that far?

hello there

i think it's a case of we are tight for money and Fleming would have to be something special for Sammy Mac to splash out cash just like that

£40.000 would pay a player who's a free-agent wages for the next 12months or so

£40,000 not bad price considering he could be as good as Championship teams within 1-2 years .
Football is a risk and Sammy go for it he can be a holding player and then you can use Drummond in center defence maybe to replace Artell you never know

Considering we paid £50k for Mark Duffy I don't see the problem.

50,000 for Mark Duffy that was a good transfer .

I like watching him at Christie Park and also i got told his game was weak away from home .

So I hope next season he can be more of a performer away from home .

I do think the kid got talent

but we must have monitored Duffy for nearly a full season when he was at Southport before signing him

and i think it was the same case with Carl Baker

You are a funny joker but can no-one see you are deliberatly doing everything you do, including your child speaking tone.

It seems everyone is blind and actually think you are being honest with your comments, grammar etc. I wish I could ignore you.

Yeah Mfc that is what I am doing.

All I said about Duffy is for the price we paid he is a bargain.

And I got told away from home he was not as good than he is at Christie Park.

And I would love to watch Morecambe away and see Duffy as a future star of the football league.

Hope so he is quick and skillful

Well as we are debt free and got £500,000 for the naming rights this should then be all profit so we shouldn't have any problems meeting the price or buying in other players for that matter.

We don't want a tribute to the frustratingly annoying sod. Already driving people away.
