Oh definitely not surprising. Wayne was number 9 before. I think the players from last season have the same squad numbers.
Bishop maybe the next number 9 ;) ;) ;)

Just when I started watching Morecambe I got told Twiss is the legend and Admas is captain slow.
And dont start Wainwright and sometimes not sideway stanley that is all

I take the number 2 top Keith can be the number1 ;) ;) ;)

Number 9 top do you think Morecambe will sign a star striker not saying that Jevons is not this.
I was hearing it could be Brodie but also got told charlton are preparing a 200,000 bid for the york center forward.
Or that Bury forward?

I know Barry is ace, but don't we need a reserve keeper? Only saw 1 on the squad list.

When, if at all, did you finally accept that you were never going to play for Morecambe? Despite always being crap at football and only ever managing an occasional game with Morecambe High 'B' team, there was still a horrible moment in my life when I accepted I'd never play for Morecambe!

I think I was about 32.

[edit] Although, to be fair, I did watch Morecambe through the late 70's and early/mid 80's when being crap at football didn't necessarily preclude you from playing for The Shrimps

I do remember when I was in my early twenties in the early 90s I used to get asked a lot if I played for Morecambe as I always used to wear a Morecambe training top over a replica shirt. There werent many people around town who used to wear replica shirts etc in those days.

Strangely, I dont get asked at all nowadays. :(

My favourite Sweatshirt ever was the Black one with 'Morecambe Football Club' printed in bold red on the front. I loved that one. Around '94 I think?

Mine too....those were the days when I could fit into a MFC issued one!

Favourite T Shirt was the black one with MFC in the broken font printed in white. Unfortunately my wife thought it had seen better days and 'out it went' without my knowledge.

Mentioning about 'fit' anybody noticed how tight the turnstyle doors are at the new stadium?

Very good and a lovely suite it is too. I should have known your lot would be near the bar as they spend more time in there than watching the match!

True, but this season we / they can watch the match from the Terrace assuming that the pints will be in plastic containers...

Correct Mark. No drinking on the terrace during matchdays! Tut! Tut! Neil. Thought you would have known that!

There does seem to be a perception that the terrace will be used for standing 'outside' and having a pint. Someone suggested that it might be OK to have a smoke 'out there'

I learned that particular rule back in August 2007
