Did anyone notice Sammy today?

Did anyone notice Sammy today?

My eyesight is rubbish, so sorry if I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but couldn't see Sammy down on the bench today - was he in the stand?

I was in the Main Stand - didn't see any sign of Sammy. With the transfer window clasng on Monday - perhaps he was doing some last minute business?

He was in Block A sitting by the steps. A very subdued Sammy for some reason. Never got onto his feet. Was passing messages to the box via 'phone. Looked totally pissed off with the whole game.

He now knows what the stand think of Stanners who got a great reception and shouts of 'that's who we need' when he decided to leave early from his seat in Block B.

By the sound of his interview with Quinny, he must've been there. Maybe Tony Roberts had the answer..... almost!!! ;)

Perhaps he wanted to watch his team from a different perspective, to try to understand better where things aren't going right. The wonders of mobile telephones mean he doesn't need to be in the dugout all the time!

theres also the invention of the video camera. every game is filmed. doesnt he already look at them after every game? so why does he have sit there when he can watch exactly the same thing from the same angle and perspective later

Don't know about you, but I'd rather that he spotted and changed the things during the match.

He frequently sits in the stands at home games. Maybe he thinks he can get a better view of the game from up there?

He actually watched the first 30secs of the first half from the dug out and then disappeared. Presumed he had gone to the top of the stairs into the stand tho it did cross my mind that he'd seen enough and wanted to get home early :)

Even certain members of the Board looked with concern towards the dug out to see where the manager was and what his responce was to being 2-0 down. The look of concern at the apparent lack of movement on the subs bench told its own story.
