Morecambe dressing room impressed with Crewe's attack, but Dave is there to sure up their brittle defence

Not sure if this link to a video interview with Arts will work.

Personally i think this reaction by the Crewe supporters is one of the major reasons that they and other so called big clubs in this league don't do as well as they should, the constant pressure put on the players must have a negative impact on their abilities to perform to the best of their abilities. The flip side of that is a club like ours possibly over achieves because we don't turn on the players when things don't work out on the pitch and in general stay behind them come what may.

Good lad, Arts!

My favourite memory of Moose (apart from THOSE goals against Crewe and Dagenham) was a home night match against, I think, Brentford. The season before last.

Some loud mouth in the Main Stand at Crusty shouted after a Moose wayward clearance, "What are you doing Artell ????"

Our Dave, quick as a flash, and clearly audibly, shouted back, "Your wife."

Sheer brilliance !!!!

To be fair if somebody other than your boss criticised you during work hours you wouldn't be best pleased either.

I remember reading an interview in the programme once where he said the worst bit about being a professional footballer was playing the matches! Or something along those lines

To be fair, if she didn't expect a response she shouldn't have criticised him, and his performance whilst he within earshot. I'm sure as a professional performer he doesn't need anyone telling him he has made a mistake :?:
If you give it out, you've got to expect it back - not least from a guy at the top of his game high on adrenaline. Female or not.
