Not wanting to moan about it but quite honestly at this moment in time I don't even feel like going to the away friendlier to hear the verbal chanting and being made a fool of by the other fans who won't be able to wait to get their teeth into thisno doubt in time we will look back and think xxx :(

that shows you the experiance the architect's have in building football grounds am not making it up! you can click on and read it and see for yourselfs or even e-mail them and ask

now unless one of the MFC Board of Directors is a quality surveyor or Architect themselves they would then FACTUALLY seek advice off the obvious into building a football ground

Its only a piece of grass its the team that matters. In a few months all this will be forgotten and the Shrimps will be playing their trade in their new surroundings. Who cares about friendlies anyway, bring on Coventry City and just get behind this proud club :D

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Still, I suppose it befits the non-league feel to 3 sides of our stadium that we should have a farcical end to the build. Though frankly, it's not the delay to the hand over that concerns me. What does is the the now lack of friendlies. If we don't manage to reorganise them (or organise new ones) pretty quickly then our players won't be anywhere near match fit for the start of the season. We were already risking it by not having our first one until the 20th. £12 million for some good outdoor facilities, one good stand, 2 distinctly average ones, a brick wall and a handover delay. Fabulous!!

Very simple, our rules, like it or set up your own board. Historically, this is the type of situation that leads to e-mails from solicitors etc. In the past we've had 'contact' with the police, lawyers, club & city council as well as aggrieved individuals. I've posted the links in the past, and frankly, can't be arsed digging them out again, about a Sheffield Wednesday fan who genuinely thought he would lose his house to pay legal & potentially libel expenses for some "chat" on a message board that 99% of people would view as a fan expressing an opinion. He only 'survived' because he found a lawyer willing to defend him on a no-win-no-fee basis. Google "Sheffield Wednesday" fan libel to see if you can find it.

I don't know the facts and unless you, or others, do, then you run the risk of libel by stating the club or the contractors have cocked up.

Have we EVER suggested people have freedom of speech on this forum? Set up your own forum and see how long you support other people having 'freedom of speech' if you are the one who may pay instead. Covering our own backside? Too right. So if someone comes on here and posts something that bring the lawyers sniffing, like Sheffield Wednesday's did, we can demonstrate that we moderated as well as can be reasonably expected. And when the court order arrives demanding e-mail & i.p. addresses don't think we'll go all righteous and 'protect freedom of speech', you're all grown up and take responsibility for your own posts.

Feel free to post the link, that is fine.

Post what you want, as long as people follow the comment on the first page and don't attribute blame without being able to prove who is to blame. It's not a difficult concept!

Personally, I think it's a complete farce and we, as a whole, are going to be a laughing stock, regardless of whose cock-up it is.

Funny, it's what I've been thinking. We've had two bad starts to the season in a row maybe a run of away friendlies will harden the players up.

Always look on the bright side of life.

Keith you've summed it up and coming from someone like you it speaks volumes. It is a farce and what's worse, whenever it does get finished, it's quite frankly an embarrassment. I won't bother ranting on about the north stand (or lack of), the building down the side of the pitch (this has to be a world first for purpose built stadiums), the home and away terraces having the same capacity and perhaps worst of all (allegedly) no shed for the groundstaff!

I don't think certain posters will be using the phrase "leave it to the experts" anymore.

Obviously I'm hugely disappointed! I wonder what the possibilities are of staging the Bolton and Preston games at the Reebok and Deepdale? Should that not be possible, I do hope that an extra couple of matches can7 be arranged as replacements?

Still annoyed that reserve games switched to Kendal after I'd bought my season ticket. I relied on them to make the ticket viable being someone who watches 90% of reserve games.
Will seriously consider ever purchasing a season ticket again.
