O/T - World Cup - Quarter Finals

Brazil v Cloggies - another wonderful advert for the game
Petty fouls all the way through.
Referee was awful from start to finish.
Van Brommel should have walked about 3 times in the the last 15 minutes.
The area of the goalposts definately didn't matter :)

Uruguay v Ghana - Faith temporarily restored.
Both teams came to attack, and generally play within the rules.
Both teams out on their feet at the end.
Controversy at the end, but the rules and punishmnet were applied.
Good luck to Uraguay, but I hope that Suarez ain't the hero.

Don't cry for me Argentina....
That's this World Cup, the European Championships, and World Cup 2014 sewn-up.
And no doubt there'll be more babes coming through
That German team, their ruthlessness and efficiency, just goes to show how hopeless Fabio Capello and his shower of underachievers are.

I could only suffer the 1st half of the last match.
Apparently it got better, but the Spanish can't leave it all to David Villa.
What's up with Torres?

The haircut has ruined him. Half the hair = half the player!

They have so far but if Torres starts v Germany then Spain are in trouble.
