Morecambe v Grimsby, then straight on to two wheels. Head to Scarborough, arrive in time to check in then go out on the beer. Sunday racing, probably including a local bloke, then head back to Morecambe. I'm over with the bike that weekend!

If you've not been there before, Scarborough meeting racing is superb. Basically 170mph bikes on a park path! Good night out too...

Last time I went, I saw Morecambe v Stevenage then shot across for a few beers, lovely ride. Also remember an occasion when Justin Jackson scored at the McCain Stadium. We were cheering "THE MORECAMBE" at the same time as John McG was getting his prize for winning a race

It's not that far from Heysham to Christie Park Freez..................... (Morecambe Vs Grimsby)

I'd have thought the ride to Scarborough would have been less attractive

What's that they say in schools about reading the question properly?

The run from Morecambe to Scarborough is great if you go Skipton-Blubberhouses-York-Scarborough.

Unless it is raining! :?

It'll be 3 or 4 miles to push it to Christie Park. He'll be too knackered towatch the game.

How far away from home do you need to be, to get assistance from the recovery services if you don't have the "At home" option?
