So Carl gets to play at the Globe Arena at the first possible opportunity! Should be a good game!

Oh, and it's only taken us 4 seasons to be drawn at home!!!

If they televise 1st Round ties, I reckon we've got a good chance of being on. Not many other "Minnows v decent side" games apart from maybe Chesterfield v Middlesborough

According to the official web site, we are playing this Coventry tie on Wednesday 11th August. Is this an indication that evening matches at the Globe will not be on Tuesdays? :o

Will you be standing on the half-way line outsider? Cheering both teams goals???

Great to finally have a home tie in the league cup.

How the hell are Coventry a YO-YO team?
in the last 45 years they have had 1 promotion followed by 35 years in the top flight then 1 relegation and so far 10 years in the 2nd flight!!! That make for 1 very very crap yo-yo in my opionion

Nope I will be in the home end but wearing my away shirt from 2 seasons ago ;) ( the sky blue one)

Having said that I'm in Devon that week so I have a hell of a lot of brownie points to earn between now and then.

I know Coventry were a good premiership team but at beat are a mid table championship team sorry.
I think Coventry will end up losing the better players before Augest and will be either close to relegation or go down.
Look in the last 2-3 years what teams went from championship to League1.

I agree Coventry are a poor side at the moment, What i can't understand is your YO-YO comment!

When clubs are called yo-yo clubs it means they yo-yo between divisions ie WBA, Leicester and to some extent Charlton, you can't include Coventry as the haven't yo-yo'd!

They just yo'd ;)

When i mean yo-yo it means Coventry were in a position to gain promotion but now within the last 2 seasons Coventry have gone down.
I tipped Coventry to go down next season along with Crystal Palace and Watford.

And Charlton are a yo-yo team well recently we have not gone up just down shhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Next season were gonna win league one ;) ;)

How do I talk rubbish.

Coventry down Palace down and maybe Millwall or Watford down.

Anyway i am going Morecambe 2 - 1 Coventry

And i am joking about Charlton gaining promotion i think we get play offs because alot of stronger teams than Charlton in league1.

Coventry could be without some of their star players as fifa has made that week for internationals.

Freddie Eastwood - Wales
Kieren Westwood - Ireland
Aron Gunnarson - Iceland

They don't have any Greek players, and Morrison has been released.
