England 1 - 1 USA

Ledley King is injuried already and out of the next game, the amount of people who said when the squad was picked his fitness is to risky to gamble on

when i first seen the team lineup i said out loud no way there not playing R Green out of the three Keepers in the squad id have had him as 3rd choice

although i liked the shape of the team, and it was a satisfactory performance and expect 6 points in the next two games

for me South Korea have looked the best team so far

Interesting game today.
I think that Slovenia will win today and we will win our next game.
Slovenia would be well up for the game against the Yanks as that would mean they go through to the next stage if they win.
Slovenia would rest key players for their last group game againt the English.
Simples.

It was a bit like watching Morecambe tbh, score early on to put us in a good position but make a sloppy error and despite how much we push forward can't get a winning goal. As the season progressed we learnt how to kill off games more professionally and despite England having less time to do so, I hope we can become more of a winning side.

Watching Algeria v Slovenia currently, they both look unlikely to threaten our defence but that's not to say either of them will be a walkover. Hopefully Capello has learnt some lessons about playing in a World Cup and can utilise his tactical qualities to get a higher goal difference than America thus avoiding a likely second round game against Germany.

My God! if we have to rely on Slovenia resting players to qualify, then we are in trouble!

So were Carson & Robinson, but neither have been seen in an England shirt again
