Alanna’s super 7’s funday

Sunday 24th august 08 at heysham cricket club in heysham village, starting at 11:30am till approximately 6pm. This charity event is in memory of a very special girl to many Alanna duffy. Alanna was a strong outgoing person who has inspired us to group together to raise money for a truly worthy cause. All proceeds from the day will go to Christie’s hospital Manchester. The days events will include: 7 a-side cricket throughout the day with teams from local businesses and social groups including guest appearances from players of Morecambe football club (past and present). Live entertainment, face painting and bouncy castle, tombola and stalls, BBQ and a raffle with some amazing prizes including: 1 night stay in a double room with sea view at the midland hotel, romantic dinner for 2 including bottle of wine at Ma Renoos, family pass for blackpool zoo, meal for 2 at pebbles, donations from pizza italia, oh fudge and many many more. We would like to thank all local businesses who have donated towards our charity event. We have put
a lot of hard work and effort into organising this day we would greatly appreciate everyone’s support by coming along and joining in our funday while also raising money. We would also like to say a very big thank you to all the kind shoppers at morrison’s on Saturday 16th aug who helped us get of to a flying start as we raised a massive £1164.
