Don't think there are going to be coaches to be honest. There wasn't any coaches to Tranmere or Hartlepool was there.

Yeah I was on it, I meant a coach for example the York Hotel or Offical Supporters.

From this week's Visitor (which I got at half-four this afternoon from Tesco.... early finish, Glen?!):

The Shrimps Supporters' Club are running a coach to Oldham for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy match on Tuesday September 2 leaving at 5:30pm. The fares are £10 members and £12 non-members. To book, ring Bob Fleetwood on.....

In case it would be frowned upon for me to include Bob's number, it can be found at http://www.morecambefc-supporters.org.uk/awaytravelnews.htm as well as, obviously, in the paper!

Its all a bit tongue in cheek but here goes :

Charabanc:
A charabanc (pronounced sha-ra-bang) [also spelt "char-à-banc"] is a type of horse-drawn vehicle or motor coach, usually open-topped, common in Britain during the early part of the 20th century. It was especially popular for sight-seeing or " works outings" to the country or the seaside, organised by businesses once a year. The name derives from the French char à bancs ("carriage with wooden benches"),

and Latics is Oldham 's nickname.

In the late 60s We would sit at Milnthorpe Bottle neck with our begging bowls and without fail
we would see "KENS COACHES" from Morecambe passing through. Blue and Cream it was and on the back it said "PLEASE PASS WE ARE OUT FOR PLEASURE" a proper Chara that was. :)
