What a start! Come on the north west club or come on the ex-Morecambe assistant manager? (Blackpool for me)

Stunning free kick from Charlie Adam. I think Blackpool will win. They seem to benefit from the tag of underdogs.

2-1 Cardiff. Against the run of play by the sound of it.

Full time. Well done Blackpool, it will be great to watch them playing the big boys next season. Ian Holloway should provide much entertainment!

Late Kick Off NW Shock News. Blackpool refuse to appear on Late Kick Off in 2010/11, after they take their place in the Premier League. Brilliant result. Well done to the club and all Tangerine fans. We'll miss you next season. Hope not to hear from you for some time.

So do I. Can't see it though. But with some decent management they could become a 'yo-yo club' for a few seasons, as Burnley may well be, thus becoming stronger each season.

talking about yo-yo clubs, that is now the most financially sound thing to do, dont buy anyone much like burnley, get relegated and you still have 90 mil, then make your team stronger in championship, get promoted then you can buy players with your 160 mil ish, many teams will do this and then we will have the same 23 teams in the premiership, that number includes the 3 yo-yo clubs!!!

Great stuff for us locally, will hopefully bring people into Blackpool's neibouring towns!!

Derby were heading that way, then they suddenly sacked their manager, threw a shed load of cash at the team, failed and almost went out of business. WBA have done the right thing and may well stay up next season (just!) and Burnley made the most out of their season in the sun. Premier League mini-league with a Champions League (don't mention Champions League to Shrimper, he hates it... probably!) then a mini-league for relegation. Next will be a mini-league, Premier League division Two for promotion before the rest of the Championship.

Bloomfield rd is an awful ground

Postby Arnside Red » Sat May 22, 2010 9:17 pm

only3 sides, the away fans get shoved in a tempory mechano stand with no roof, this will cost BFC a lot of money in lost ticket revenue next season, 90 mil will go a long waytowards building the 4th side though wont it

I think Carl Oyston said in an interview that was about the first thing they will be doing once that money comes in.
