More to the point 'Why have a 10,000 all seater stadium'..... :?: :?: :?:

Seems a bloody expensive luxury for a League 2 club.

Yes but we paid to relocate Westage Wanderes, a Community Block and a Community Sports area PLUS a dedicated Training pitch. I think we got a far better deal.

Not to mention that because Chesterfield is all seater, they get a raft of grants.

Hand over is sometime in early July.

Our's is I believe late July.

We seem to have a lot of work still to do compared with Chesterfield.

If ours is being handed over late July, we're going to have an awful lot of away friendlies!

From looking at our main stand and Chesterfields, it looks like we';ve got an additional floor to ours where the corporate boxes are - gives us additional income and more flexible facilities for conferences/meetings than chesterfields ground.

As for progress - the latest we heard was that the Globe was on course to be handed over on time and everything was going well. From Mikes pictures, fit out seems to be progressing well.

Yes we are, but not a bad thing in my opinion.

Wonder who the first game at The Globe Arena will be against?
